. ARTICLE 29- WAGES <br />Section 1. Ali clericai and technical empioyees within the bargaining unit shall receive <br />wage increases in accordance with Appendix A. Section 2. The City shall compute overtime separately from straight #ims and shaii show <br /> <br />the overtime and straight time separately on the employee's pay stub. Additionaily, the City shall <br />campute. and show on the empioyee's pay stub, the accrued sick leave and vacation time. <br />Paychecks wiil normaily be available on Friday at Noon for employess who are not scfieduled to <br />work Friday or have completed their work at that time, and at the end of the day shift for other <br />employees. Paychecks for employees of the Police Department and Recreation Department <br />ending their scheduled week at 8:30 a.m. on Friday wili be available at 8:30 a.m. <br />Section 3. In the event of a shortage of an employee paycheck that exceeds $25.00, <br />such shortage shall be paid within forty-eight (48) working hours after notification of shortage is <br />made to the supervisor. <br />ARTICLE 30- PREMiUM PAY <br />Section 1. Effective July 1,1998 through June 30, 2000, employees assigned to work in <br />the Police Department and or the Recreation Complex Maintenance Personnel on a regular night <br />shift, and those employees while assigned a rotating night shifit, shall be paid an additional sixty <br />cents (.60) per hour for afl hours worlced on a nigh# shifit. <br />Sectian 2. Effective July 1, 2000 through the duration of this agreement, employees <br />assigned to woric in the Police Department andlor#he Recreation Complex Maintenance Personnel <br />on a regular night shift, and those smployees while assigned a rotating night shift, shall be paid <br />an additional sixty-five cents (.65) per hour for afl hours worked on a night shift. <br />ems:opeiu/1794afl-cio -36- <br />?.
