<br /> <br />ADDENDUM <br />Police Department Secretaries <br />ARTICLE 1- HOURS OF WQRK <br />Police Department Secretaries shali be paid at time and ong ttaif (1 '/Z) times the employees <br />straight rate of pay for all hours worked in addition to regular holiday pay in accordance with Artic(e <br />16. <br />ARTYCLE 2- LEAVE OF ABSENCE <br />(d) INJURY ON DUTY: Secretaries working within the Division of Police whiie actualiy <br />performing Matrons duties who are temporarily incapacitated from a sudden and accidentai <br />injury to the degree that the empioyee can not perform secretarial duties, said injured <br />Secretary, shafl be eligible to use up to one hundred twenty (120) hours (15 working days) <br />of sick leave at the discretion of the Safety Director wifhout such sick leave use affecting <br />the individuals accumulated sick leave credit nor the employees attendance bonus days. <br />To be eligible, the injury must be a direct result of work performed as a Matron and shall <br />not be a resuit of slipping, tripping, falling, lifting, or other injuries that may occur while <br />performing duties other than Matron duties. <br />ARTICLE 3 - MAT'RON DUTIES <br />Police Secretaries assigned to the Police Departmentwho are called-in to perform Matron duties <br />shatl not'be required to perfoRn any other duties for the duration of the cail-in. The City agrees <br />to provide safe working conditions for all Police Secretaries performing Matron duties. <br />Additionaliy, the City agrees to provide in-house training and education with respect to Matron <br />duties.
