Proof of service is defined to <br />mean that the written notice shall contain the name of the OPBA, <br />the address to wh3ch the written notice is to be delivered and <br />method delivery was made. Delivery should be made by U.S. <br />Certflied Mail, with requested receipt of delivery. A capy of the <br />same shall be provided to the office of the Director of Finaace. <br />Any member of the 4FBA shall have the right to file an <br />application with the 3tate Emp2oymeat Relations Board for a <br />-...? Reliqious Exemptian. Such an application shall be mailei to the <br />State Enployment Relations Hoard by the employee. A capy of the <br />same shall be provided to the office of the Di.rector of Finance. <br />SECTION 2: Deductions of assessatents, dues and fees shall be <br />made during the first pay period of each month and if an <br />-employee's pay for that period is insufficient to cover QFBA <br />assessments or dues, the Employer will make a deduction fraat the <br />pay earned in the next period or subsequent period. All <br />deductions for assessments or dues shall be accompanied by an <br />alphabetical list of all employees for whom the deductions have <br />been made and shalZ be transmitted to the OPBA no later than <br />thirty (30) days following the end of the pay period in which the <br />deductions are made. Upon receipt, the OPBA shall assume full <br />responsibility for the disposition of all funds dedueted. <br />SECTION 3: The OPBA shall indemnify and save the Employer <br />harmless from any and a11 liabilities or damages which may arise <br />from the performance of its obliqations under the provisions of <br />this Article and the OPBA shall indemni.fy the Empl.oyer for any <br />such la.ability or damages that may ari.se from any action growing <br />out of deductions, commenced by an employee against the Employer <br />or the Employer and the OPBA jointly. <br />SECTION 4: All full-time bargaining unit employees who are <br />not members of the OPBA shall pay a fair share fee to the OPBR in <br />the amount certified by the OPBA as being properly chargeable as <br />2 <br />?. <br />,?,??
