ARTICLE 32 <br />LONGEVITY <br />Section 32.01 Full-time hourly employees shall receive the following sums as increments for <br />the years of full-time continuous service with the Employer. For longevity purposes only <br />full-time continuous service with the NOMBL shall be considered. <br />(a) After 5 years, prior to December 1 st. $400 per year <br />(b) After 10 years, prior to December 1 st. $600 per year <br />(c) After 20 years, prior to December lst. $800 per year <br />(d) After 25 years, prior to December 1 st. $900 per year <br />Section 32.02 The longevity payment shall be made in December of each year, based upon <br />employees who have completed continuous service prior to December 1 st of the payment year. <br />Section 32.03 In order for the employee to be eligibie for One Hundred Percent (100°fo) longevity <br />of the above longevity payment, the ernployee must have worked for at least Two Hundred Forty <br />Nine (249) days during the longevity year, which is considered as December 1 to November 30 and <br />also be actively employed on December 1 st of the payment year. Worked days include vacation <br />days, paid holidays and complete days worked; it excludes paid sick leave days; however it will <br />.include Major Iltness paid sick leave days. (Major Illness is defined as the use of sick leave by the <br />employee for his surgery, broken bones, hospitalization pneurnonia, or recuperation of the afore <br />mentioned illnesses.) If the employee works less than 249 days then the longevity paycnent shall be <br />pro-rated as follows: <br />200 to 248 days 75% <br />152 to 199 days 50% <br />151 days or less 0% <br />Section 32.04 As an exception to Section 32.03 above, any full-time employee who retires and <br />receives a pension, or dies prior to December 1 st of the payment year shall be eligible to receive a <br />tongevity payment for that year based upon the proration schedule set forth above. <br />Section 32.05 Aii full-time employees hired full-time after November 30, 1991 shall not be <br />eligible for any of the aforestated longevity benefits. <br />ARTICLE 33 <br />OVERTIME <br />Section 33.01 Overtime pay for all employees except those in the classification of bus driver <br />shall be at the rate of time and on+e-half for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in one day <br />or forty (40) hours in one week. Hours worked shall include vacation time and paid holiday time in <br />addition to the time actually worked. Overtime will be paid to the nearest minute. <br />Section 33.02 Overtime pay for employees in the classification of bus driver shall be in <br />accordance with the GCRTA route schedules and past Employer practices. <br />Section 33.03 In the computation of weekly overtime, for all employees, recognized holidays <br />shall be considered as time worked, except where the holiday coincides with the scheduled day off of <br />tfie employee. <br />27 <br />.?•., - ,,,- ., ., m,?,,?»> ,.???, ? ?.,??? ?? ?
