, <br /> <br />Schmidt Copeland Parker Stevens <br />PROPOSAL OF PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES <br />for <br />This proposai outlines the professional services to be provided by <br />Schmidt Copeland Parker Stevens as cansuttants to the Ci#y of <br />North Olmsted. These services will focus on providing a design <br />solution that meets the programmatic needs of the City and <br />compiement its mission. <br />The Old Town Hall RenovatioN <br />ADA Compliance <br />for <br />The City of North Olmsted <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />These services are based on previously developed drawings <br />provided by the City and the Request for Proposal dated <br />February 3, 1998. They are subject to further refinement and <br />elaboration as may be appropriate to the City's needs. If approved, <br />this proposal will become the basis for establishing a formai service <br />agreement between The City of North Olmsted and Schmidt <br />Copeland Parker Stevens, as project consuttants. <br />The proposal includes Architecture and Building Engineering <br />Seroices. These services are essential to the successful <br />completion of the project and as such, are considered basic project <br />services. Each area of service is directed at specific project needs <br />and structured to accomplish estabiished development objectives. <br />Project Definition The City of North Olmsted has deeided to continue the renovation <br />of the Old Town Hall which, was initiated a few years ago through <br />the work of DICKSON Associates. The current project is focused <br />on the renovation and remodeling of the main floor. The work will <br />include new accessible toilet rooms, new offices, a kitchenette, <br />janitor closet, and new floor coverings and wall finishes throughout. <br />Also, the work will include renovation of all existing windows and <br />repair of a small area of foundation waterproofing. <br />To accomplish this task, the city has solicited proposals for the <br />services of an architectural firm with expertise and experience in <br />the renovation projects in historicaNy significant structures and <br />municipal; facilities.
