We will also prepare a
preliminary estimate of costs and a project schedule as a part of
this phase.
construction documents
Approved design drawings will be elaborated into a detailed set of
construction drawings indicating the precise size, location, and
quantity of each element needed to successfully construct the
proposed buildings and site development. These drawings will be
prepared in compliance with normally applicable codes and
regulations and in sufficient detail to determine final costs and the
construction process. These documen#s will be prepared in
compliance with applicable ADA guidelines. Two copies of the
construction drawings witl be submitted to the Ci#y for review and
approval prior to their issuance to contractors. These drawings
will be computer generated using AutoCAD and produced on 24"
x 36" or greater, reproducible mylar sheets. All drawings are also
electronically stored.
A companion specification will define the quality, finish and
craftsmanship standards for each of these elements and outline
specific installation standards for each construction element
indicated in the construction drawings.
The project manual will include a complete set of bidding
documents to include the bid advertisement, instructions to
bidders, form of proposal, bond requirements, prevailing wage
rates, affidavits, general and supplemental conditions to the
construction contract, and the entire set of specifications indicated
above.
P9874.00\pr021398rtp dg nolmsted.dac
Page 2
ff ?,r?Yw,s?.c.??
-110 ..: ? . ?r.?,"x .?. ...... .. ... - n ,... .
