• - ? ? <br />? <br />For multiple-family residences <br />located on lots where the frontage <br />exceeds 120 feet, an additional <br />charge of $11.70 per foot for each <br />foot in excess of 120 feet. <br />SCHEDULE B <br />(Commercial and Industrial Establishments) <br />For sanitary sewers constructed after August 1, 1968, except as <br />hereinafter provided, the following tap-in charges shall be applicable <br />depending upon the size of the water meter installed or to be installed: <br />Water Meter Size (Inches) Charge <br />5/8 $ 702.00 <br />3/4 1,055.00 <br />1 1,580.00 <br />1-1/2 2,808.00 <br />2 4,212.00 <br />However, if the water to be used on the premises is not and will <br />not be measured by a water meter, the Service Director shall, on the <br />basis of accepted engineering practices and, further, on the basis of <br />requirements of similar or comparable establishments, determine the size <br />of a water meter that would be required to serve the premises. The meter <br />size so determined shall be used in calculating the charge under the fore- <br />going Schedule B." <br />SECTION 3: Section 911.12(e) of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, which now reads as follows: <br />"(e) Al1 food establishments which maintain a kitchen or other <br />facilities for the preparation of food shall be required to have <br />a 1,000 gallon capacity grease trap (grease interceptor). Such <br />grease trap shall be installed at least ten feet from the building <br />wherein the food is prepared, and such grease trap shall be cleaned <br />and maintained to the satisfaction of the Service Director, evidence <br />of such cleaning to be exhibited to a member of the Service <br />Department upon request and further grease, oil and sand inter- <br />ceptors shall be provided when, in the opinion of the Service <br />Director, they are necessary for the proper handling of liquid <br />wastes containing grease in excessive amounts, or any flammable <br />wastes, sand and other harmful ingredients, except that such inter- <br />ceptors shall not be required for private living quarters or <br />dwelling units. Al1 interceptors shall be or a type and capacity <br />approved by the Service Director, and shall be located as to be <br />readily accessible for cleaning and inspection. <br />Grease and oil interceptors shall be constructed of impervious <br />materials capable of withstanding abrupt and extreme changes in <br />temperature. They shall be of substantial construction, water- <br />tight and equipped with easily removable covers which, when bolted <br />in place, shall be gastight and watertight. <br />Where installed, all grease, oil <br />maintained by the owner, at his <br />operation at all times." <br />and sand interceptors shall be <br />expense, in continuously efficient <br />- 4 -
