? Section 1
I RNl Management Structure
? tists, engineers and other professionals, senior level mana ement moni-
tors progress of all projects and assumes responsibility f or technical
? quality, cost-effectiveness, timely completion of tasks, and coordination
between project team and client.
? This structure, in which senior personnel are intimately involved in each
project aspect, ensures appropriate cost control, expeditious completion
of projects, and a high level of technical quality.
?
Project Status Review
? Periodic in-house meetings of project team members and senior manage-
ment allows early identification of potential problems (technical, person-
? nel, logistical, or budgetary) and ensures adherence to the project budget,
schedule, scope of services, and deliverable items.
? Our highly-successful performance on projects for public and private
, sector clients demonstrates the efficiency and effectiveness of this man-
agement strategy.
Periodic in-house project status review will be initiated by the Project
Officer on this project. The status will be reviewed during these meeting
and decisions will be made which are necessary to ensure high-quality,
on-time completion of all phases of the work.
The Pirnie Integrated Management System (PIMS)
PIMS is a flexible management and information system used on all Mal-
colm Malcolm Pirnie projects. It is designed to serve the needs of cli-
ents, managers, and the firm. PIMS is resident on the firm's supermini
computer and is accessible by a network of remote terminals (microcom-
puters). The system generates semi-monthly reports on all costs, cross-
referenced by project, client, work task, and cost element. PIMS's other
relevant features include: reporting actual progess in comparison to
projections; preparing forecasts and manpower loadings; accumulating
costs for summarizing multiple projects; and the ability to produce up to
100 additional reports from the data base. In addition, PIMS has com-
plete construction management capabilities for scheduling, monitoring
progress, document tracking for change order and claims controls.
M-202rA.r/cLc
Confidcntial Qusiness Information
Nort/i Olmsted WW'I'P Stormtivater NPDES Pemzit Applicatiol: / 1-5
RECYCLED PAPER
