MAIOXM <br />IRNI <br />Section 2 <br />Project Approach <br />Project Understanding <br />The City of North Olmsted is required to submit an application to the <br />Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) for a NPDES <br />stormwater permit for the stormwater drainage system serving the North <br />Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The application is <br />required to be submitted to the Ohio EPA by October 1, 1992. <br />The North Olmsted WWTP drainage system consists of a series of catch <br />basins and building drains and interconnecting storm sewers ranging in <br />size from 10" in diameter to 30" in diameter. The WWTP site essentiallv <br />drains from the north anci east to the southwest corner of the site near <br />the plant access roadway. The collected stormwater is discharged from <br />the 30" diameter outfall into a drainaze swale on the east side of <br />Shepard Hill Road. v <br />The NPDES permit application must include completed EPA Form 3510- <br />1 and EPA Form 3510-2F and supporting documentation and data which <br />identifies the existing North Olmsted WWTP drainage system and dis- <br />charge characterization.
