Section 25.04. Al1 full=time employees shall give at least seven (7) <br />-?- days advance written notice to receive consideration for a floating holiday. <br />Floating holidays requested will be approved by seniority. <br />Section 25.05 The use of the floating holidays will be permitted at <br />any time; provided it does not conflict with primary vacation selections or <br />does not create a scheduling problem. <br />ARTICLE XXVI <br />INCENTIVE PROGRAM <br />Section 26.01. A full-time employee will receive one (1) day (which <br />may be taken as time off, subject to driver availability; or for an extra <br />eight (8) hours pay) for each six (6) consecutive months of Perfect <br />Attendance. The first six (6) month period shall be from January l, to June <br />30, and the second six-month period from July 1 to December 31. lhis <br />incentive da.y, af ter earned, will be taken in the following six (6) month <br />period from the time earned and may not be accumulated. Perfect Attendance <br />is defined as meaning that the employee works every day he is scheduled to <br />work. Zhis further means that there is no sick leave, no suspensions <br />without pa,y, no non-working misses for bus operators, no personal days off <br />without pay and no more than one (1) lateness for maintenance employees; <br />used by the before mentioned employee in the six (6) month period. Perfect <br />attendance shall not include vacation days, holidays, floating holidays, or <br />incentive days earned in the prior six (6) month period. <br />ARTICLE XXVII <br />PENSION <br />The Fmployer shall make payments to the Public EYnployees Retirement <br />Systen in accordance with the law. <br />ARTICLE XXVIII <br />LIFE INSURANCE <br />Section 28.01. After one (1) month of full-time continuous service <br />with the employer, full-time employees of the transit department shall be <br />covered by a twenty thousand ($20,000) dollar group term life insurance and <br />accidental death and dismemberment insurance policy, effective October 1, <br />1991; at the enployer's expense for the duration of this agreement. <br />Section 28.02. To the extent permitted by the insurance provider's <br />rules, full-time employees may purcha.se ad.ditional life insurance; which <br />shall be deducted fran an employee's paycheck once a month. <br />-23-
