Aseparate and <br />independent building sewer shall be providsd for eeery build3.ngi except that, wnere <br />one building stands at the rear of another on an interior lot and no private seker <br />is available or can be constructed to ths rear building throtigh an a3oining a71ey., <br />court., yard' or driveway., the building sewer from the front building map bs extended <br />to the rear building and the whole conaidered as one building sewer., provided a proper <br />easemerrt for use and maintenance of said sewer is stated an application. - <br />Section 14: USE flF OLD BITILDING SEW.ERS. Old buil.ding seWers mapr be used <br />in connsction with new buildings only when they are found,, on axarnination and test by <br />the Service Director, to meet a1Z requiremerits of this ordi.nance. <br />Section ls: SPECTFICATIQNS AND LAYING. All building sewers shall be <br />constructeds laid, and conn,ected in accordance With the mi.nimuzn requirsments as <br />established by the Cuyahoga County Sanitary Engineering Department., or by the <br />ordinances of the City of North Q].mtedt whichever is the more restrictive. <br />Section 16: IATSPECTIQN. The applicant for the building sewer permit <br />shall notify the Service Director twenty-four (24) hours before comaencenterat of <br />construction of said building sewer. The construction of the building sewer and <br />the connection to the public sewer s na1.l be made urider the supervision of the Service <br />Dixector or his representative. <br />Section 17: PROTECTiOAT OF EXCAVATIQNS. A]1 excavations for building <br />sewer in,.atallations shall be adequately guarded with barricades and lights so as to <br />protect the public from hazard. Streets, sidewalks, parkways and other public <br />property disturbed in the cou:se of the work shall he restored in a ma.nner satis- <br />faetory to the Citp Engineer. <br />Section 1$: STORM WATER NOT TO DRAIN INTO SAIdITAR.Y 0WFR; CCMBINED SE'WERS. <br />No person shall discharge or cause to be diacharged ariy storm water, surface water, <br />ground water, roof run-aff, subsurfaee drsinage' cooling water or nnpo3..l.uted industrial <br />process waters to any sanitary sewer. <br />Storm water and all other unpolluted drainage shall be discharges to such <br />sewers as are specifically designated as storm sewers, or to a natural outlet approved <br />by the Service Director. Industrial cooli.ng water or urigoZluted process waters may <br />be discharged, upon approval of the service Director, to a storm sewer or natural outlet. <br />No person shall discharge or cansa to be discharged any sewage into any stom <br />sewer. <br />Section 19: EXCLUDID WASTES; LIMLTS. Except as hereinafter provideds na <br />persons firm or corporation shall discharge or cause to be discharged any of t,he <br />following described waters or wastes to any public sewer: <br /> <br />
