_~,:. <br />1241.02 Referral To The Planning Ccr~mission <br />Any ordinance amending this Zoning Cade or the Zone Map <br />referred by Council to the Planning Commission shall receive <br />the consideration and be the subject of approval or disappaval <br />by the Planning Commaission, which shall report its action and <br />recommendation to the Council in regard to such proposed <br />ordinance within thirty (30) days from the date of the referral <br />unless Council extends such period at the time of the referral <br />or before the expiration of such thirty (30) day period or as <br />established by Council. In the event the Planning Commission <br />does not act on such proposed ordinance within the time in <br />this section specified, it shall be de-erred to have approved <br />such ordinance. <br />1241.03 ~ For And Notice Of A Public Hearin <br />Upon receipt of a notice of an action from the Planning <br />~.a <br />Commmission regarding a proposed ordinance amending this Zoning <br />Code or the Zone Map, or upon the introduction of such an <br />ordinance when initiated by the Planning Commission, Council <br />shall establish a date for a public hearing of such ordinance. <br />The date of such public hearing shall be not less than thirty <br />(30) days after the date of hearing is established. The Clerk <br />of the Council. shall give notice of such public hearing as <br />required by the Charter and such additional notice as may be <br />directed by the Council at the time the date of the public <br />hearing is established. Any notice given shall set forth the <br />time and place of public hearing and a summary of the proposed <br />amendment. A copy of the proposed ordinance or s~mended Zone Map <br />add all reports in connection therewith shall be on file for <br />public inspection in the office of the Clerk of the Council. <br />104 ~• <br />.._ ._.,« <br />
