CHAPTER 1131 PENALTIES AND REMEDIES <br />1131.01 Criminal Penal <br />The owner or owners of any building or premises, or a <br />part thereof, where angthing in violation of the Zoning Code <br />shall be placed or shall exist, and any person who assists or <br />participates in the commission of any each violation, and any <br />person who shall violate any of the provisions of the Zoning <br />Code or fails to comply therewith, or any requirements thereof, <br />or who shall build in violation of any detailed Statement of <br />plans submitted and approved thereunder, or has failed to comply <br />with any lawful order issued by the Building Official or the <br />Board within the time specified in said order, shall for each <br />and every violation of noncompliance be guilty of a misdemeanor, <br />and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than forty <br />nine dollars ($49.00), and each day during which said violation <br />shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. <br />1131.02 Civil Action <br />Whenever any person neglects or refuses to comply with <br />any order of the Building Official issued pursuant to the <br />authority vested in him, or where®er any land or building is <br />being built or vied so as to be in violation of or not in <br />conformity with any provision of the Zoning Code, the Building <br />Official may, in his discretion, request the Director of Lav to <br />institute and maintain in the name of the municipality an <br />appropriate action at law or in equity to restrain such person <br />from the further building or use of land or buildings which <br />are in violation of the Zoning Code, or for order to terminate <br />any violation of the Zoning Code. <br />18 <br />~.~.~~>~~., ,. ~ ~ ,. e <br />
