Facilities Planning elements fifty (50) copies to the 1.13 Perform the following Facilities Planning tasks in the Olmsted Township portion of the planning area: .1 Prepare preliminary designs, sizes slopes and locations of collector sewers to services un- developed areas of Olmsted Township. .2 Address the requirements of U.S. EPA PRM 78-9 (unsewered areas) for the Olmsted Township portion of the plan. This part of the work will identify cost-effective collector sewer projects, on-site disposal alternatives, and unsewered areas which currently have a water quality problem. .3 Estimate a separate preliminary user cost for the Olmsted Township Area. 1.14 Time of Performance Basic Services as set forth in Paragraph 1.1 through Para- graph 1.13 shall be completed in fifteen (15) months con- tingent upon the timely performance and review of those other than Dalton. 1.15 Additional Services Dalton shall provide Services for the Project when authorized in writing by the City in addition to those services set forth in Paragraph 1.1 through Paragraph 1.13. Such Services shall consist of providing any other services not otherwise included in this Agreement or not customarily furnished in accordance with generally accepted engineering practice or Facilities Planning under U.S. Public Law 92-500 as amended. ARTICLE 2, THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 The City shall, without expense to Dalton: 2.1.1 Furnish all pertinent data and sewer plans from its files concerning the existing sewer systems, pumping stations and treatment plants. Provide data on the sizes, lengths, age and type of sewers within the study area. 2.1.2 Supply information concerning industrial users, the quantity and quality of their wastewaters, and their permit conditions. 2.1.3 Conduct necessary hearings and make necessary filings on behalf of the City, and furnish all legal services which may be required. -4-
