SECTION 4: Longev?it y Be?nefits T at t ere is here yb established longevity benefits for all full time employees; bus drivers, administrative and maintenance, which shall be as follows: A. Administrative and Salaried Personnel Effective August 1, 1976 through and including October 2, 1976, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said bus line or having been transferred from some other department by administrative appointment shall be paid an additional three percent (3%) of their base annual salary until they have completed their tenth (lOth) year of continuous full time service. After completing their tenth (lOth) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full time service, they shall be paid four percent (4%) of their base annual salary. After completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous service and prior to completion of their twentieth (20th) year of continuous service, they shall be paid five percent (50) of their base annual salary. After completion of their twentieth (20th) year of continuous service they shall be paid six percent (6a) of their base annual salary. These payments shall be lonevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department of the City of_ North Olmsted. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevi;tyincrements as hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part time service, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part time service as employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. B. Bus Drivers and Maintenance Employees Effective October 3, 1976 and thereafter, the following longevity benefits shall be paid to all full time employees, except administrative personnel with the first of such payments to be made in December, 1977, subject to the approval of the Regional Transit Authority. 1. For all employees who have completed five (5) years but less than ten (10) years of continuous service before December lst -$300 per year. 2. For all employees who have completed ten (10) years but less than twenty (20) years of continuous service before December lst -$500 per year. 3. For all employees who have completed twenty (20) years of continuous service or more before December lst - $700 per year. 4. The provisions contained in Paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of this Section shall, however, be subject to the following provisions: i. The longevity year shall be based upon December lst to December lst, and in order to be eligible for One Hundred Percent (100a) longevity payment for any year, the employee must have worked or been paid for at least Two Hundred Thirty-Eight (238) days during the longevity year and also be actively employed on December lst of the payment year.
