f + <br />. ..?.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDTNANCE N0. 78- ? <br />PAGE 3. <br />SECTION 4: Longev?it y Be?nefits <br />T at t ere is here yb established longevity benefits for all <br />full time employees; bus drivers, administrative and maintenance, <br />which shall be as follows: <br />A. Administrative and Salaried Personnel <br />Effective August 1, 1976 through and including October 2, <br />1976, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service <br />as employees of said bus line or having been transferred from some <br />other department by administrative appointment shall be paid an <br />additional three percent (3%) of their base annual salary until they <br />have completed their tenth (lOth) year of continuous full time <br />service. After completing their tenth (lOth) year and prior to <br />completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full time <br />service, they shall be paid four percent (4%) of their base annual <br />salary. After completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous <br />service and prior to completion of their twentieth (20th) year of <br />continuous service, they shall be paid five percent (50) of their <br />base annual salary. After completion of their twentieth (20th) year <br />of continuous service they shall be paid six percent (6a) of their <br />base annual salary. These payments shall be lonevity increments and <br />shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department of the City of_ <br />North Olmsted. <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevi;tyincrements as hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part time service, but such limitation is only <br />for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion <br />for part time service shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part time service as employees of <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />B. Bus Drivers and Maintenance Employees <br />Effective October 3, 1976 and thereafter, the following <br />longevity benefits shall be paid to all full time employees, except <br />administrative personnel with the first of such payments to be made <br />in December, 1977, subject to the approval of the Regional Transit <br />Authority. <br />1. For all employees who have completed five (5) years <br />but less than ten (10) years of continuous service <br />before December lst -$300 per year. <br />2. For all employees who have completed ten (10) years <br />but less than twenty (20) years of continuous service <br />before December lst -$500 per year. <br />3. For all employees who have completed twenty (20) <br />years of continuous service or more before December lst - <br />$700 per year. <br />4. The provisions contained in Paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of <br />this Section shall, however, be subject to the following <br />provisions: <br />i. The longevity year shall be based upon December lst <br />to December lst, and in order to be eligible for <br />One Hundred Percent (100a) longevity payment for <br />any year, the employee must have worked or been <br />paid for at least Two Hundred Thirty-Eight (238) <br />days during the longevity year and also be actively <br />employed on December lst of the payment year. <br />Furthermore, if the employee works or is paid for <br />
