,. ? . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78- ? <br />PAGE 4. <br /> <br />less than Two Hundred Thirty-Eight (238) days in <br />the calendar year and is still actively employed <br />on December lst of the payment year, the longevity <br />payment shall be prorated as follows: <br />214-237 days 900 <br />190-213 days 800 <br />166-189 days 700 <br />142-165 days 600 <br />118-141 days 50% <br />117 days or less Oo <br />ii. However, any employee who retires and receives a <br />pension, or dies,.prior to December lst of the <br />payment year shall still be eligible to receive <br />a longevity payment for that year based upon the <br />proration schedule set forth in Paragraph 4 above. <br />SECTION 5: Uniform Allowance <br />That t ere is ereby esta lished a uniform allowance for bus <br />drivers and maintenance employees which allowance shall be as herein- <br />after specified. <br />A. That mechanics and other employees in the garage of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be allowed the sum of One <br />Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($135.00) per year for the cleaning and <br />maintenance of uniforms worn by them in the performance of their <br />duties in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Garage. <br />B. That there sha11 be allowed for each bus driver the sum <br />of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per year for the acquisition of <br />uniforms to be worn while operating a bus for the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line. <br />Upon the appointment of a new driver, he shall be allowed <br />the sum of One Hundred Ten Dollars ($110.00) for uniforms and <br />accessories for the first year of such appointment. Clothing allowance <br />will not be issued to a new driver until thirty (30) full days of <br />employment. <br />If within the probationary period of one (1) year, a driver <br />leaves the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, he must <br />reimburse the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line for the amount of <br />money spent from the clothing allowance. <br />SECTION 6: Paid Holidays <br />That all employees o the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line <br />shall be entitled to certain holidays during the year and shall not <br />be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by <br />the General Manager or Supervisor. In the event that the employee <br />works on one of the following holidays, the employee shall receive <br />another day off from work to replace the holiday he worked. The <br />scheduled holidays are as follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; <br />Independence Day; Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day; <br />President's Day; and the employee's birthday. <br />SECTION 7: Vacation <br />That all ull time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with <br />the following schedule:
