<br />Section 2~ There shall also be deposited at the time of filing such ap-
<br />placation with the City Treasurer an amount of money sufficient, as determined by
<br />Council, to cover the cost and expense of such investigation, as may be necessary
<br />to determine whether such proposed allotment or highways conform to the require-
<br />ments of this ordinance. The cost and expense of such preliminary investigation
<br />shall be paid by the City and deducted f tom such deposit. In case such expendi-
<br />ture exceeds such deposit, such excess shall be paid into the City Treasury by
<br />the applicant prior to the approve? of the plat, or acceptan%e cf +he d~.dica+.,ions,
<br />In case such deposit exceeds suc'~ expenditure, the balance sha~.l 'oP refanded to

<br />Section 3~ In the making of such survey, plat, and dedication, the app~.i-
<br />cant shall observe the follor,r~ng requirementss
<br />(a) No intersecting street or streets between property lines shall be less
<br />than sixty (b0) feet in width, except for deaa end streets of length too greater
<br />than 500 feet, in which case the street width may be fifty (50) feet. The Council
<br />upon recommendation of the Planning Commission may require wider streets than
<br />sixty (60) feet whenever in its judgment provision for public travel made the
<br />wider street desirable.
<br />(b) All dead-end highways shall have adequate turning space for vehicles
<br />at the dead-end, the exterior radius of the pavement of turning circle to be a
<br />minimum of forty (/~0) feet,
<br />Section 4. In order to coordinate the proposed allotment or highways with
<br />the general county plan, the plan shall be submitted to the Planning Commmission of
<br />the city (See Secs. 105 and 120) and the City Engineer, and his written recommenda-
<br />tions in reference thereto shall be considered by the Council before taking final
<br />action thereon, (Sec. !~, Ord. 62, Sept. 4, 191?),
<br />Section 5, Prior to final acceptance of any dedications, the applicant
<br />shall furnish the Council with abstract, certificate of title, ~licy of titl®,
<br />insurance, or Torrenst Certificate, showing title to dedicated lands free of all
<br />liens and incumbrances, to the approval of the legal advisor of the Council.
