..g- <br />(f) Detailed plans for a17, improvements oust be prepared by a registered <br />professional engineer and submi•~,ted to the City Engineer at least ten (ZO) days <br />prior to the Council meetRng at which action on improvements is to be requested. <br />Duplicate tracings o!' al.l improvements together with six (b) prints of each must <br />be submitted to Council, <br />Registered Engineer on p~o~ect must submit record plans showing locations <br />all water mains, valves hydrants and other appurtenances, curb connections: <br />sewers, manholes, ~'Y'~ branches, sewer connections, inlets, etc, before acceptance <br />of streets for dedication to public use. <br />Section 7. Andy of the improvements listed under Section 6, paragraph (a') <br />(b) (c) (d) and (e)y however, need not be installed by the allotter, if, in the <br />opinion of at least three-fourths of the members elected to Council that, due to <br />special circumstances, conditions or other reasons, same may be omitted without <br />jeopardizing the public health, safety and other interests, <br />Section g. Where a highway is desirable along the boundary between the pro- <br />posed allotment and unallotted lands, and the owner of unayl.otted lands fails to <br />cooperate in opening and improving such highway, the Council may permit either of a <br />rededication of one-half of such highway immediately adjacent to the boundary lines, <br />or of a dedication of the entire highway within the lines of the proposed allot- <br />ment with a reserved strip next ad3acent to the unallotted lands and improvemaents <br />shall be made by the allotter in said highway as follows <br />(a) If the dedication of one part of the highway is permitted, said part <br />shall be graded to the required grade and sidewalks laid upon one side of the higY~ <br />ways unless the other one part of the highway shall be acquired by the Council by <br />purchase or appropriation, in which event the street shall be improved by the City <br />forthrovith, to the extent provided in Section b and the cost thereof assessed against <br />• the benefitted property. <br />(b) If the entire highway is within the lines of the proposed allotment, <br />the highway .ah~ll.be~impi~oved by the allotter, as specified in Section 6 and ade- <br />quate provision made, prior to the acceptance of the dedication, for the inclusion <br />of the reserved strip as a part of the highway, whenever equitable re-itnbureemertt <br />for land and improvements shall be made to the allotter upon a basis fixed by the <br />Council (Sec. 8, Ord. b2, Sept. 4, 1917 <br />Section 9. Developers muss provide trees in. tree lawn according to the <br />master tree plan of the city. Trees planted in the tree lawn by home owners should <br />also be of the type specified in the master plan. <br />Section 10. If necessary, in the opinion of the Council, the dedications <br />may bs accepted without the advance installation of the improvements specified in <br />~<,_,... <br />
