Radio dispatchers shall exercise the greataat possible care in <br />the broadcasting of infaxsation„ Information that might be regarded as con- <br />fidential and important to t~ Department f.n any investigation or prosecution <br />shall not be broadcast without consulting the officer in charge, <br />Rule 18. In case of the death of a prisoner, the coroner and the Chief of Police <br />shall be notified st once, A complete report of the death and all other eircwe- <br />stances shall be made in writing by the officer in charge to the Chief of Police <br />in duplicate forna. <br />Rule 22. Dale mem~bera of the Police Department shall xsot visit the section <br />allotted to female prisoners unless acca~mpanied by a matron. If the regular <br />matron is not availsble~ some woman employee of the c3.ty shall accompany him. <br />If neither matron or wcaaan employee i8 available, not less than two officers <br />shall eater the impale section of the jail, one of whom shall. be in full uni- <br />form~ ar~d due notice of their intention to enter must first be given the <br />prisoner. <br />TH <br />Rule 23. The Chief OF POliC® is authorized to excuse any member of the Depart <br />me~sp from duty because of sickness or disability. <br />Rule 24! The Chief of Police may require of every member of the Police Depart- <br />ngr}t,~ w~a absents himself fraan duty because of sickness or ~njuty, tp present <br />a certificate from the attending physicians giving a diag~Q~is and the probable <br />duration of such incapac3.ty~ except in those cases where the injury ar illness <br />ie~ minor. <br />Rule 2§. The Chief of Police shall make a repast, whenever in his opiniont <br />the salary of a member absent from duty because of siakrtess or injury should be <br />withheld during such absence. <br />Rule 26, The Chief of Police shall be the final authority in all questionable <br />cafes oS sickness or disability and shall order mass returned to such duties <br />ae in his jud~ent may be just and. proper. <br />
