For each full tInte member of the Police Department (excluding auxiliary police and school guards), the City of North Olmsted shall pay the sum of $7.25 per month toward the total cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization premiums of said members of the Police force. be and the same is hereby. amended to read as follows: Section is That effecti,~e November 1, Ig63, the base salaries of the members of the Police Department are hereby fixed and determined to be as follows: Chief of Police $7,800.00 annually Lieutenant of Police 7,300.00 annually Sergeants 6,900.00 annually Patrolman for FIrst Year 5,500.x0 annually Patrolman for Second Year 5,900.00 annually Patrolman after Second Year 6,500.00 annually School Guards 1.75 per hour Auxiliary Police 1.75 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. Any of the above, with the exception of school guards and auxiliary police, shall, while on duty as plain .clothes detectives, be paid additional compensation at the rate of $240.00 annually for all time spent as plain clothes detectives. Full time employes of the Police Department hawing completed five years of full time continuous serv-ice as employees of said department shall be paid an additional 2%, of their base annual salary thereafter until completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which such employees shall receive 3% of their base annual salary thereafter until the completion of the 15th year of continuaus full time service, and thereafter 4% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the 20th year of continuous full time service and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 5% of their base annual salary as longevity increments.
