Ordinance No. 63 - ;;7 ~ Page 3 Section 2: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 63 - 234 adopted November 6, 1963 now reading as follows: Fire Chief $7,800.00 annually Assistant Fire Chief 7,40000 annually Fire Lieutenant 6,900.00 annually Firemen fior First Year 5,500.00 annually Firemen for Second Yasar 5,900.tro annually Firemen after Second Year 6,500.80 annually Part-time Firemen 1.75 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. Full time employees of the Fire Department having .completed five years of full time continuous service as employees of said department shall be paid an additional l~ of their base annual salary thereafter until completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after a~ich such employees shall receive 3% of their base annual salary thereafter until the completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and Chereafter 4q of their base annual salary until after. the completion of the 20th year of continuous full time service and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 5~0 of their base annual salary as longevity increments. In computing length of service for. the purpose of making payments of the longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time service but such limitation is only. for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employees of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees of either Safety Department. In addition to the regular base salary plus increment and other wage increases, all regular employees of the Fire Department, including officers, shall, on their original appointment anal during the first calendar year during their appointment, receive $175.00 clothing allowance and shall, during each calendar year thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $150.00 to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chief of the Department. For each full time member of the Fire Department, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the sum of $7.25 per month toward the total cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization premiums of said members of the Fire Department. be and the same is hereby amended fio read as follows: Section 2; That effective November 1, 1963, the base salaries of members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and determined to be as follows: Fire Chief $7,800.00 annually Assistant Fire Chief 7,400.00 annually Fire Lieutenant 6,900.00 annually Firemen for First Year 5,500.00 annually Firemen for Second Year 5,900.00 annually Firemen after Second Year 6,500.00 annually Part-time Firemen 1.75 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly.
