CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 64-~ Page 2 <br />2. The final plat of the. subdivision shall be filed with the Planning <br />Commission within a period of six (6) months of the filing of the <br />Preliminary Plat, and if not filed within the sia (6) months period <br />the entire subdivision and its platting shall no longer be considered <br />by the Planning Commission, and it shall be marked not approved <br />"Due to Delay of Developer. " <br />E. Council acts on the data referred to them. <br /> Section 3: NUMBER DETAIL AND TYPE 8F MAWS REQUIRED <br /><r~ BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />"~"" A. Preliminary Map and Vic~ity Map. <br />1. Preliminary Map and Vicinity Maps shall show type of zonigg of <br /> areas contiguous to land to be platted. <br />2. The Preliminary Map shall be prepared by a Land Surveyor <br /> registered in Ohio. <br />3. The Preliminary Map shall be accurately drawn on tracing paper or <br /> better material to the scale 1 inch = 100 feet. Dimensions <br /> from the County Auditor's Map may be used. <br />4. The preliminary plans shall show all the existing streets forming <br /> the periphery of the land to be developed; the street and lot layout <br /> for the area to be developed; the existing and proposed location of <br /> draining ditches; the existing structures on the parcel to be subdivided; <br /> the existing structures on properties immediately adjacent and within <br /> twenty (ZO) feet of the boundary line; and the location and description <br /> of plugged, capped or active gas wells, within the subdivision and <br /> within one hundred (100) feet of the boundaries of the proposed <br /> subdivision . <br />5. A vicinity map showing the location of all periferal streets and <br /> subdivisions within approximately one (1) mile of the land to be <br /> developed and showing the proposed subdivision and proposed streets <br /> shall be drawn on the preliminary map, or the proposed subdivision <br /> shall be drawn on a copy of the City Zone Map and submitted along <br /> with the preliminary map. <br />6. The City shall be provided with at least three (3) copies of the Pre- <br /> liminary Map and one (1) copy of the Vicinity Map. The School <br /> Board shall be provided with one (1) copy of the preliminary plan. <br />B. Topographic Map. <br />1. A topographic map shall be prepared by a Land Surveyor registered <br /> in Ohio . <br />2. The topographic map shall be accurately drawn on tracing paper or <br /> better material to the scale 1 inch = 50 feet with a contour interval <br /> of one foot. The elevations shall conform to sea level elevations <br /> established by the Cleveland Regional Geodetic Survey. The Geodetic <br /> Bench Mark used shall be indicated thereon. <br />3. The topographic map shall show the location of houses on the lots, <br />'~' finished ground elevation at the house and lot corners, existing <br /> improvements on adjoining streets and proposed block and lot drainage. <br />4. The City of North Olmsted shall be provided with at least three (3) <br /> copies of the topographic map. <br />C . The Plat . <br />1. The plat shall be prepared by a Land Surveyor registed in Ohio and <br /> his certification and seal shall appear thereon. <br />2. The plat shall be drawn on linen cloth with india ink to the scale <br /> 1 inch = 50 feet. The linen shall not be smaller than 1 foot by 2 feet <br /> or larger than 2 feet by 3 feet. Large plats may require more than <br /> one sheet of linen. If so, the sheets shall be numbered consecutively. <br /> <br />
