In addition to the regular base salary plus increment and other wage increases, all regular employees of the Police Department, including officers , shall, on their original appointment and during the first calendar. year during their appointment, receive $175.00 clothing allowance and shall, during each calendar year thereafter, receiving a clothing allowance of $7.50.00 to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. For each full time member of the Police Department (excluding auxiliary police and school guards) , the City of North Olmsted shall pad an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Rlue Gross Hospitalizatic `premiums o sai mem _ers o t e Police Force. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 64-207 reading as follo _ "Section 2: That effective November 1, 1964, the base salaries of the members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and determined to be as follows: Fire Chief $ 7, $00.00 annually Assistant Fire Chief 7 , 400.00 annually Fire Lieutenant 6 , 900.00 annually Firemen far First Year 5 , 500.00 annually Firemen for Second Year 5 , 900.00 annually Firemen after Second Year 6, 500.00 annually Part-time Firemen 1.75 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. Full time employees of the Fire Department having completed five years of full time cantinuous service as employees of said department shall be paid an additional 39° of their base annual salary thereafter until completion of the tenth year of cantinuous full time service , after which such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary thereafter until the completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and thereafter 5°h of their base annual salary until after the completion of the 20th year of continuous full time service and during each year • of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments.
