<br />LECTION 1. That The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, its

<br />and assigns, be and it or they are hereby.granted the right to erec

<br />maintain and use the necessary poles, wires, conduits, and such oth
<br />r
<br />;fx 31res" and appliances, overhead and underground, as may be deemed by it or t

<br />necessary
<br />or essential to enable it or them to transmit electricity through ani
<br />along the
<br />streets, alleys, highways and public places of the Village of North"
<br />Olmsted, for
<br />the purpose of furnishing and supplying electric service.
<br />SECTION 2e The location of all poles, piers, or supports shall be
<br />subject to the control of the Council of the Village of North Olmsted, and she
<br />be changed by The Cleveland Electric'Illuminating Company, its successors and
<br />assigns, to such other locations as may be directed whenever, in the opinionol
<br />the Council* the best interests of the .Village and the general public demand i
<br />moving of the same. No work shall be done hereunder except upon permits Issuf
<br />by the Clerk of the Village.
<br />SECTION 3a The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, its succes
<br />and assigns, shall protect and indemnify the Village of North Olmsted against
<br />any and all claims for damages which may in any way arise from the exercise o
<br />the rights and privileges herein granted. .
<br />SECTION 4a The continuance of the rights and privileges herein
<br />granted are hereby expressly made conditional upon the compliance on the part
<br />of The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, its successors or assigns, •i
<br />the terms and conditions of this ordinanceg'and the failure to comply with su,
<br />terms and conditions shall constitute the surrender of such-rights and
<br />privileges. In the event of such failure, all such rights and privileges sha
<br />at once terminate.upon the passage of an ordinance to that effect.
<br />SECTION So The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company shall, with

<br />ten (10) days from the passage and legal publication of this ordinance, file
<br />with the Village Clerk a written acceptance of the terms and conditions of this
<br />ordinance, and shall pay the colt of publication of the ordinance.

<br />and after the earliest period allowed by law and the filing of acceptance
