co <br />�91 <br />Ordinance No,,__+��!/ <br />Y, <br />Mr. <br />An Ordinance <br />Providing for inspection of premises for the purpose of safety to life and <br />fire prevention. <br />Be it Ordained by, the Council of the Village of Ilorth Olmsted., County <br />of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio:- <br />Section 1. That under the direction of th© Mayor, the Chief of the Fir <br />Department shall inspect or cause to be inspected the various buildings or prO <br />mises in the Village for the purpose of ascertaining whether proper precaution <br />are taken for the protection of life and the prevention of fire, and if he <br />I hall .find that conditions are caused or permitted to existaat which are danger <br />ous and in his opinion likely to cause injury or loss of life or a fire in <br />any such buildings so inspected, he shall order the oviner, tenant, person in <br />possession or the agent for such property, to corredt said condition within <br />the time stated in such order, and such person shall comply with such order <br />without delay. <br />Section 2. Upon the failure or. refusal of any such person to comply witl <br />such order within thirty (.30) -days after date thereof, and who shall fail or <br />refuse to place such buildings or premises in reasonably safe condition, shall <br />be subject to a fine of not to exceed ten dollars ($10.00) and the cost of <br />prosecution; and each day that such dangerous condition shall be permitted to <br />exist after such notice shall be deemed &.separate offense. <br />Section 3.
