AN ORDINANCE <br />ESTABLISHING THE CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES OF <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, INCLUDING OPERATING <br />AND NON - OPERATING EMPLOYEES. <br />WHEREAS this Council desires to establish rules govern- <br />ing the conditions of employment of the employees of the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line; and the purpose of these condi- <br />tions is to assure adequate and dependable transit service <br />to the public; to provide the employees with working condi- <br />tions as good as may be reasonably possible; to protect the <br />interest of the employer and the public; to provide a procedure <br />for adjusting grievances or disputes arising from or pertaining <br />to the employment on the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line; to <br />prescribe working conditions for employees; and to set forth <br />various other provisions relative to the rights, privileges, <br />duties and obligations of the employer and the employees; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio; <br />Section 1. For the purpose of discussing and con- <br />ferring with respect to any matter which concerns the employer - <br />employee relationship, but subject to such other conditions, <br />rules and provisions of law as may. be properly applicable <br />thereto, the Transportation.Committee of Council will meetwith <br />the duly elected Committee of Employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line. <br />Section 2.. Any employee to whom these conditions <br />are applicable who feels aggrieved because he has 'been dis- <br />charged or suspended by the employer or because of what he <br />believes is a misapplication or misconstruction of the terms <br />or intent of the conditions. of employment *herein provided for, <br />may proceed in the following manner: <br />a Grievances shall be presented for adjustment <br />immediately but in no event more than ten days after the <br />
