AN ORDINANCE <br />AUMORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PROMULGATION OF RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE "EMPLOYEFS_OF THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />MUNICIPAL BUS LINE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. It is herebr7 affirmed that employes of <br />the Village of North Olmsted Busine are hereby authorized <br />and empowered to fully and freely associate themselves in <br />organizations of their own choosing for their benefit and <br />advancement. <br />Section 2. The Council of the Village of North <br />Olmsted shall, after the effective date of this ordinance; <br />formulate and establish effective machinery _whereby griev- <br />ances complaints, problems or suggestions may be presented <br />by said organization or its duly authorized repr®sentative. <br />Section 39 When said organizations are established <br />or formed, they shall require the members to sign statements <br />Prohibiting any employe from participating in a stoppage of <br />work or any strike-against the Village. of North Olmsted, <br />Section 4. No employe shall.be punished, disciplined <br />or discriminated against, nor shall his status, position or <br />salary, advancement or any other rights be affected in any <br />wag by his membership in such organization or in his lawful <br />activities therein. <br />Section 50 The rules formulated by the council for <br />the carrying out of this ordinance shall provide that the <br />council will hear all grievances, complaints problems or <br />suggestions by said organizations or their : duly authorized. <br />representatives and the Mayor shall have the right to intervene <br />in any dispute between said organization -and the Council if <br />Jae deems it desirable or necessary in the interest of the <br />Village, <br />Section 6. Said rules and regulations established <br />by the Council shall provide for seniority ri is for ?employes <br />Of the North Olmsted Bus Line and working contions for said <br />employes and shall provide that no working conditions shall <br />be changed without sixty days' notice to the employes of the <br />North.
