4. <br />(a) Grocery, including fruit, vegetable, meat, <br />dairy products and baked goods; meat market; bakery; <br />Drug store; <br />Confectioneries, delicatessens and restaurants; <br />Wearing apparel shops; <br />Hardware, paint and wallpaper, furniture and household <br />appliance stores; <br />Banks; savings & loan companies; <br />Variety and dry 'goods stores; <br />Flower shops; <br />Gift shops; <br />Shoe repair shops; <br />Barber and beauty shops; <br />Ice station; <br />Offices; office buildings; <br />Parking lot; <br />Print Shops; <br />Social Uses for gain; <br />Retail Textile cleaning establishment in which only <br />non- explosive, non - inflammable solvents are used; <br />Undertaking establishment; mortuary; embalming; <br />Hospital; <br />Conyalescent or nursing home or home for the infirm <br />and aged, provided that the building is more than <br />50 feet from any side or rear property line and complies <br />with ordinances of the Village specifically governing <br />such homes; <br />Cat and dog hospital or pet shop if noise and odor <br />are effectively confined to the premises; <br />Business colleges; private trade schools; <br />Research and testing laboratories, radio and television <br />stations; <br />Telephone exchange or transformer station, if more <br />than 15 feet from a residence district; <br />Railroad, public service or bus passenger station; <br />bus terminal if the roadway of the street upon which <br />the bus entrance or exit is located is at least 44 feet <br />wide between curbs; <br />Public garage; community garage; <br />Salesrooms; automobile showrooms; auto supply store; <br />Lot for sale of new and second hand motor vehicles <br />or trailers; , ( junk yards prohibited);' <br />Studio; shop for custom work; retail shop; <br />Hand-laundry; laundry; <br />Any other trade or service similar to the uses herein <br />listed in type of goods or services sold, in daily <br />hours, in the number of persons or cars to be <br />attracted to the premises and in other effects upon <br />the adjoining residential areas. <br />Advertising signs; billboards and signboards; <br />Tailor, pressing and dry cleaning shops employing <br />not more than four persons; <br />Theatre; assembly hall; trailer camp; dance hall; <br />bowling alley, skating rink or other sports and re- <br />creations carried on as a business, if the places <br />or buildings in which they are operated are suffi- <br />ciently insulated to confine the noise effectively <br />to the premises, and, further., if the places or build- <br />ings comply in every respect with. ordinances of the <br />Village,of North Olmsted specifically governing same; <br />Gasoline service station or gasoline or oil filling <br />station, only upon permit granted by Board of Appeals. <br />(See Sec. 42(e )14. <br />r <br />
