Ordinance No.� <br />By Mr, <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEDWT OF FRANK AVINUE, <br />ITS ENTIRE LENGTH, BY SURFACING SAME WITH BITUMINOUS MACADAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the .Village of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense <br />Of improving Frank Avenue, its entire length, by surfacing same with <br />bituminous macadam, amounting in the aggregate to $5,050.00, as <br />reported to this Council by the Village Eagineer, notice of the <br />filing of which assessment has been given as required by law, be <br />and the same is hereby adopted and confirmed, and that there be <br />and is hereby levied and assessed upon the lots and lands bounding <br />and abutting upon said improvement, the sev'eral�= amouxits::roported <br />as aforesaid, which assessments, together with the description of <br />said lots and lands are now on file in the office of the Clerk of <br />this council, and which assessments are at the rate of $2.1843 per <br />front foot, and are not in excess of the special benefits to said <br />Property.. and are not in excess of any statutory limitation. <br />Section 2. That the total assessment against each lot <br />or Parcel of land shall be payable in 'cash within thirty days from <br />Mad after the passage of this ordinance, or, at the option of the <br />o..Wner, in .tsn^ annual installments with interest at the same rate <br />as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the <br />collection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the <br />Treasurer of said Village. All assessments and installments thereof <br />1 remaining unpaid,at the expiration of said thirty days shall be <br />certified by the clerk of this council to the county auditor, as <br />Provided by law, to be by him 'placed on the tax duplicate and <br />collected as other taxes are collected <br />Section 3 This ordinance shall take effect and be In ' <br />force from and after the <br />earliest period <br />allowed <br />by law. <br />Passed: <br />.. <br />19500' <br />er / <br />�i�r <br />
