Resolution No. 1041. <br />By Mr. Stentz <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO USE THE DITCH <br />DIGGER, OR COUNTY DRAG LINE, IN THE SCHRINSHAW DITCH, A PART <br />OF THE ROCKPORT DITCH SYSTEM, AND TO INVESTIGATE THE ROCKPORT <br />DITCH SYSTEM FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLEANING SAID DITCH SYSTEM. <br />WHEREAS the Schrimshaw Ditch, a part of the <br />Rockport Ditch System, needs cleaning, and <br />WHEREAS this council desires the use of the <br />County ditch digger or drag line in cleaning out said ditch, and <br />V'1HEREA.S this council believes that an in- <br />vestigation should be made of the Rockport Ditch System for the <br />purpose of facilitating drainage East of Clague Road and South <br />of Lorain Road, which is now in a dangerous condition, <br />N01111, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVED by the <br />Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio; <br />Section 1. 'That the Board of County <br />Commissioners be and they are hereby requested to install <br />their drag line or ditch digger in the Schrimshaw Ditch, a <br />part of the Rockport Ditch System, for the purpose of clean- <br />ing out said ditch. <br />Section 2. The Board of County Commissioners <br />be and they are hereby requested to make an investigation of <br />the Rockport Ditch System with a view to better drainage for <br />that part of the system east of Clague Road and south of Lorain <br />Road. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall take <br />effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br />September 19, 1939. <br />d ayor <br />
