Requesting the Board of County Commissioners <br />to designate the duly constituted authorities` <br />of the Village of North 'Olmsted to act ; <br />as its agents in the administration of.all <br />funds coming to'theCounty Treasury from the <br />State of Ohio for poor relief in said Village <br />in accordance with law.. <br />$'----------------------------------------- <br />WHEREAS, Substitute House Bill No. 675, Y <br />assed b the 93rd <br />P <br />General Assembly of the State of Ohio, entitledt "An.Act to provide for the <br />administration of poor relief ", etc., provides in Section 2 thereof as follows: <br />MSection 2. Commencing on the first day of July, 1939, the <br />territory in each county outside the corporate limits of cities <br />therein shall be a local relief area hereinafter referred to <br />as the 'county local relief area', the local relief authority <br />for.which shall be the board of county commissioners of the <br />county; and each city shall be a local relief area; the local. <br />relief authority for which shall. be the proper board or officer <br />of the.:city,:.provided, however-, that any board of county- <br />commissioners, upon request of the township trustees of any <br />f township in the county, shall be resolution adopted at any <br />time after this act becomes-effective, designate such township <br />" trustees to act as its agents in the administration of poor <br />! relief, within such township to the extent provided in such <br />resolution;." <br />F <br />and <br />WHEREAS,'the said Act provides and contemplates that from <br />appropriations to the Department of Public Welfare for contributions for poor <br />relief, and conditioned on compliance with the provisions of the said Act, the <br />rules, regulations and orders of the State Director, there shall.be contributed <br />monthly to each local relief area an amount equal to, but not exceeding, fifty <br />' percent of the - :obligations lawfully incurred by such local relief area from <br />j, poor relief funds during the preceding month as approved by the State Director, <br />which contemplated distributions are subject however to contingencies in said <br />Act set forth ,° and which funds are to be paid into the County Treasury as in <br />Said Act set forth by way of reimbursement for expenditures made in the pre - <br />ceding month in such local relief area to the extent of =fifty percent thereof; <br />anal <br />
