Resolution No. 1533 <br />i By Dr. Lewis <br />i <br />A RESOLUTION <br />CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF WILLIAM H. COOK AS BUILDING <br />INSPECTOR. <br />WHEREAS the volume of work in the building department <br />has increased, and <br />WHEREAS the Mayor has appointed William H. Cook is <br />Building Inspector as of September 15, 1948, and <br />WHEREAS this Council desires to approve said appoint- <br />ment; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the appointment of William H. Cook <br />as building inspector be and the same is hereby approved. <br />Section,2. The term of said William H. Cook as build - <br />ing inspector shall begin on the 15th day of September, <br />1948, and continue during the pleasure of the Mayor and <br />council. <br />Section 3. The compensation of William H. Cook as <br />building inspector shall be $137.50 for the remainder <br />of-the month of September, 1948 and $275.00 per month <br />for each month thereafter. <br />Section 4. He shall furnish bond in the sum of <br />$1000.00. <br />Section 5. This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure, the emergency being that it is <br />necessary for the daily operation of a municipal department <br />of the Village and for the immediate preservation of <br />public health, peace, safety and welfare that this resolu- <br />tion be passed at once and shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after its passage: <br />Passed: September 14, 1948. <br />• <br />Clerk mayor <br />0 <br />i <br />
