<br />Pdr. Baumgardner stated that the Transportation Cor.imittee and
<br />the Bus L+}nployses Committee had a meeting and that the Transpor-
<br />tation Committee recommended that the Bus Drivers...be paid for
<br />the one-half hour shoixT-up time. That the Cleaners bet from
<br />?1000 to tops of $1.20 per hour. Greasers from 01.10 to tops of
<br />§1.30 per hour. Night man tops of $1.50. Mechanics from 01.40
<br />to tops of $1.60 per hour. dhief inechanic tops of 191.6.6per
<br />hour. Also that the raises take effect A;ay' 1, 1950
<br />The T1layor appointed Edw. Yiolketin as a bus greaser.

<br />Village Officials the vresttivood bus will still load Qn W. 220th
<br />just noreth of Erbs Electrical shopp and that layover bussess
<br />will park.back of the shopping center so as not to.be a traffic
<br />hazard on Lorain Rood. . •
<br />lar. Nader reported that the School Bus that comes up W. 229th
<br />St., turns west on Lorain Road and stops at 1'J. 231st St., has
<br />no Police Car following it, that trucks and cars do not stop
<br />vrhen the School:Bus.is stopped. ..14ir. Levi Pdorse reported that_ a hole in front of his home : needs
<br />some slag. The 14ayor assured' ldr. Morse that it would be taken
<br />care of. . ,
<br />Mr. Bash requested that a Street Light be placed at Elmhurst
<br />and Lorain Roads. The Mayor referred the matter to_the Utility
<br />Committee. . :
<br />14r. Schwenk presented_a petition 'for water on I1fcKenzie Road
<br />from Lorain Road to Don Sch7+artz+s south line. It v?ras moved
<br />and seconded that the petition be referred to the Engineer.

<br />The Fire Chief°Wm. Bidciulph recommended that George Upp be made
<br />Capton. Roy Impett be made a Capton. Ted DeVlerth a Lieutenant, -
<br />and Earl Donaldson be made a Lieutenant. The irlayor referred
