<br />Sept. 3, 1940. <br />IJlinutes of a meeting of the Council of the <br />Village of North Olmsted. <br />, <br />Present vaere D. Douglass, P.Iayor, H. K. Bidvrell, L. F. Decker, <br />A. Fawcett, G. Oldham, G. Stearns, G. Tomes. <br />The minutes of Aug. 20th were read and approved. <br />; <br />? <br />t <br />? <br />. <br />' PrSr. Clarence Fox,-of the State Highv?ray Department stated <br />that the matter of improving and repaving Columbia Road was <br />being taken up at Coluznbus. <br />Resolution-#1098 tivas introduced by rJir. Stearns. A Resolution <br />appointing Ralph Villoni as Constable and accepting resignation <br />of Joe Pierson. Lioved by 1.1r. Stearns seconded by LZr. Oldham <br />that the statutory rule be suspendod and the resolution be <br />read iimnediately the second and third times and put on its <br />passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows, <br />Bidwell, Decker, Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes. Thereupon <br />the resolution was read the second and third times and put <br />upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as <br />follotivs., Bidwell, Decker, Fasvicett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes. <br />Ordinance #581 was introduced by b4r. Stearns. An Ordinance <br />- to levy a Special Assessment upon all lots, lands and real <br />property within the Village of North Olmsted for furnishing <br />street libhting. PJioved by Ivlr. Stearns seconded by Mr. Oldham <br />that tha statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read <br />immediately the second and third times and put on its passage. <br />The affirmative vote on sa3d motion was as follows., Bidwell, <br />Aecker, Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes. Thereupon the ordinance <br />was read the second and third times and put upon its passage, <br />and the affirmat3ve vote thereon was as follows., Bidwell, <br />Decker, Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes. <br />The followin?3 moneys were received. $446.21 sales tax. 010.00 <br />cemetery receipts. $2956.45 bus receipts. <br />Pay ordinance #488 was passed by the folloiving affirmative <br />vote, Bidwell, Decker, Fati^rcett, O1c1.Yiam, Stearns, Tomes. <br />,Meeting adjourn . <br />' e%loell A?r x C'? <br />Mayor <br />,
