<br />The iV:ayor proclaimed June 15th, 1957 as All Scouts Day.
<br />The TYlayor had requested the `.4uditor to attend a meetin; in
<br />' Columbus in regarda to House Bi11 No. 502. The Auditor reported
<br />that he attended the meeting in Columbus in the Ohio 14unicinal
<br />League Offices in regards to House Bill T;o. 502, Distribution
<br />of Local Covernn^.ent Funds.The aim of the lea6ue, with the
<br />support of the Pdayors is to secure ?'24, 000, 000.00 instead of
<br />U2,800,000.00 and that Governor OtAteill had given the League
<br />assurance that he wouJ.d r.ot object to it.
<br />A meeting of the fifty-one '114ayors or their representatives ;
<br />was held in the -0ffice of the Governor with his Secretary

<br />to levy a Utilities Tax. It was also statod that the League
<br />npeded raore support from., the Officiala of the Municipalities.

<br />being present in the House and Senate. -Cuyahor,,,ra County was
<br />well represented, however, cities such as Akron, Canton,
<br />Toledo, Wooster, Sandusk5r and Many other places are never,- '
<br />represented.
<br />The T:Zayor read a communication from i'loyd Browne & Associates
<br />stating the estimated cost for teat borings is $4,290.00.

<br />The Mlayor read a co:nmunication requesting the En;lish brothers
<br />to make:.necessary repairs on the three atreets in the ti7est-
<br />chester sub?-division. ?
