-z- , $-2-55 <br />A motion was made by Mr. Crider and seconded by Mr. Kraner that the Safety- <br />Service Director advertise for bids on 4050 qards of fill dirt off the corner <br />property, top soil to be retained and property to be reseeded. "Yeas" Crider, <br />Decker, Knapp, Kramer. The Mayor read a communication from James H. Carter, Parade Chairman for Hcene- <br />ccming, inviting the cityofficials to participate in the parade on opening day, <br />August 25th. He also read a letter from the American National Red Cross, con- <br />gratulating the citizens of North Olmsted for their splendid response to the <br />initial visit of the Red Cross.Blood Mobile to our cammunity on July 12th, which <br />yielded 108 pints of blood. <br />Ordinance #2170 was given its second reading. <br />Qrdinance #2171 was given its second reading. A petition was received Yor a storm sewer in Decker Road Yrom Lorain Road to <br />Midvale Avenue. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Kramer and seconded by Mr. Decker that the petition be <br />referred to the Engineer. "Yeas" Crider, Decker, Knapp., Kramer. <br />A petition was received for a water main in Decker Road from Midvale Avenue to <br />Southern Avenue. <br />A motion,was made by Mr. Crider and seconded by Mr. Decker that the petition be <br />referred to the Engineer. "Yeas" Crider, Decker.. Knapp, Kramer. <br />The Engineer reported over 60,`$ of the foot Yroritage signed for a water main in <br />Martin Drive. : <br />A motion was made by Mr. Decker ar?d seconded by Mr. Knapp that the Engineer prepare <br />Alans arxl speciYications for a water nain in Martin Drive. "Yeas" Crider,, Decker,9 <br />KmPPs Kramer. <br />The Engineer reported oner, 60% of the foot frontage signed For a water main in <br />Lansing Drive. <br />A motion was nade by Mr. Decker and seconded by Mr. Knapp that the Engineer prepare <br />Plans and specifications for a water main in Lansing Drive. "Yeas" Crider, Decker,, <br />KnaPP, Kramer. <br />The Engineer reported thst the petition for a water main in Coe Averlue did not <br />have the required 60%. <br />The Building Ccmnissionerts report was read showing that permits in the amount of <br />01153.80 were issued during the month of July. Estimated cost of building was <br />$9710900•00• <br />A motion was made by Mr. Kramer and seconded by Mr. Knapp that the meeting be ad- <br />Journed to Monday, August 8, 1955 8t 8:00 o'clock P.
