<br />Mr. Schssenlc., Chairman of the 14unicipal Praperties Committee., stated the {
<br />esti.mated cost of the addition to the Police Stata.on would be about ?

<br />Mr. Ma,cDonald read the Health report for the month of April.
<br />Mr. Bacon, of 6462 licKenzie Road., requested perm3.ssion to install his own
<br />sidewalks. He also stated that the fire hydrants would be in the sidewalk.
<br />Mrr. Dea.n stated that sidewalks could be installed without moving arq hydrants.
<br />A petition from the Parent Teachsrs Association was received, requesting our
<br />law enforcement officers to be more strict enforcing the speed lim3.t in
<br />school zones. The ma.tter was referred to the Safety-Service Director and the
<br />Chief of Police. .
<br />Mrs. Burkhart, of 4651 Columbia Road, stated she`purchased a new home., and the
<br />drain water was flooding her yard and wanted to know why she couldntt run her
<br />roof water into the storm drain. The engineer stated he wou.ld check into
<br />the matter. -
<br />CoMplaa.nts again were received about the W. 231st Street, Fairview line
<br />clitch not being cleaned out. The matter was referred to the Safety-Ser`rice
<br />Director to notify Mr. Morrison to open up the ditch.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Neubauer,, seconded by Mr. Baker,, that Ohio Shores
<br />Construction Compairy be permi.tted to proceed in all sections with concrete
<br />pavement, twenty-four (24)- feet wide, without curbs., instead of Macadam. "Yeas" Baker., Crider,, Decker., Kramer., Ma.cDonald., Neubauer., Schwenk.
<br />Mr. Votava, Chairman of the Planning Commission, recommended that we accept
<br />dedication plats of streets for record only,,upon completion and approval
<br />of the Engi.neer., in lieu of posting bond,, and then post bond for sidewalks ;
<br />and put up one and one-half (12) percent for inspection.
<br />The 14ayor read a corrununication from Corru.mnity liospital requesting we put up
<br />for renetiJal at the November election the .8 mi.ll. Hospital Levy. -
<br />The Mayor proclaimed A17. Scouts Day as June 15, 1957, at 10 A.M.- The
<br />Parade starts at 1:30 P.M. -
<br />The Mayor stated he would write the Division of Water and.Heat requesting
<br />permission to install a water line on Canterbury Road south of Butternu.t.
<br />Mr. Panek again complained about the condition of Mildred Avenue. The
<br />Law Direclvor was instructed to contact the Carney Boys.
<br />1`'r. Brandaos of 6002 Stearns Road, complained about cement trucks being
<br />washed out and emptying the water into the road ditch. The Safety-Service
<br />Director stated he would check into it.
<br />? Mr. Bartuccio, of 6500 McKenzie Road., stated he had insta].l.ed a wooden culvert
<br />and that the trucks from the MeKenzie Parlc Developement Compa,rx,y were using it.
<br />The Safety-Service Director stated he would check into the matter. ; Ordinance No. -21i99 was introduced by Mr, -Declser. - An Ordinance to regulate
<br />the maintenance, possession or control of Pinbal.l and certain other similar
<br />` machines.- It was moved and seconded that the statutory_rvle be suspended
<br />k and the Ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put
<br />on its passage. The affirmative vote on sai.d motion was as follows: '
<br />Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer, Ma.cDonald, Neubauer, Schwenk. Thereupon
<br />the Ordinance was rea.d the second and third.times and put upon its passage
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baker,,Crider, Decker.,

<br />; Resolution No.2500 was introduced by Mr. Kra,mer. A Resolution praviding
<br />far the su.bmi.ssion to the"Electors of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio of the
<br />? question of the approval of a contraet and a tax levy for the improvement
<br />and maintenance of the Community Hospital at Berea., Ohio. Tt was moved
<br />bY Mr, Kramer, seconded by Mr. Schwenk that the statutory rule be sta.spended -
<br />and the ftesolutionbe read immediately the second and third times. The
