Council Minutes of 02-18-2014 <br /> Resolution 2014-9 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br /> agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide <br /> for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an <br /> emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br /> readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for <br /> adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed <br /> unanimously. Ordinance 2014-9 adopted 6-0. <br /> Resolution 2014-10 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br /> contract with Cuyahoga County/The Cuyahoga County Engineer for the purpose of <br /> providing inspection services for bridges and culverts. <br /> Resolution 2014-11 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the <br /> award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the <br /> city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing <br /> the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br /> lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-12 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the <br /> award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various <br /> locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, <br /> and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for <br /> the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-13 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the <br /> award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as <br /> detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the <br /> Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the <br /> lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-14 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding <br /> ("MOU") Agreement with the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District <br /> ("SWCD") to provide the City of North Olmsted with Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2 <br /> in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems <br /> ("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2014-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br /> transportation and disposal of bio-solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant and, <br /> subject to approval by the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br /> agreement, and declaring an emergency.
