Council Minutes of 02-18-2014 Resolution 2014-9 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Senior Transportation Connection of Cuyahoga County to provide for, among other services, senior citizen transportation services, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the city, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service/Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-14 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") Agreement with the Cuyahoga County Soil and Water Conservation District ("SWCD") to provide the City of North Olmsted with Minimum Control Measures 1 & 2 in accordance with the requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems ("NPDES") Phase II, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2014-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the transportation and disposal of bio-solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant and, subject to approval by the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement, and declaring an emergency.
