Council Minutes of 10 -21 -2014 compensation of the advertising sold and potential locations for advertising space at the Recreation Center. Councilman Brossard made a motion to recommend approval of Resolution 2014 -70. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann, and the committee voted 3 — 0 to recommend approval of Resolution 2014 -70 to Council. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. Councilman Limpert, Vice - Chairman of the Intra- Governmental Relations Committee: The Intra - Governmental Relations Committee met on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at 7:15 p.m. Present were committee members Hemann, Limpert and Kearney; Council member Schumann; Mayor Kennedy and Safety /Service Director Glauner. • Discussed was the reappointment of Fair Housing Review Board members George Diamantis and Devan Anderson for the term ending December 31, 2017. The committee voted 3 — 0 to approve these recommendations. Also discussed was the appointment of Councilwoman Mary Ellen Hemann to the Fair Housing Review Board. The committee voted 2 — 1 to recommend this approval with Councilwoman Hemann abstaining. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m. Councilman Limpert made a motion to reappoint George Diamantis and Devan Anderson to the Fair Housing Review Board for the term January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2017. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Appointments approved 7 -0. Councilman Limpert made a motion to appoint Councilwoman Hemann to the Fair Housing Review Board for the term January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2017. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane asked if Ordinance 2014 -74 was to hire Walter Drane Company to provide Codification services or is this something different. Copfer replied that this is accepting Codification and Walter Drane Company will be providing this service because the city has a contract with them. He reminded the Administration and Safety /Service Director Glauner that North Olmsted is a city that has many ditches and the leaf pick -up machine sometimes skips over the ditches as it picks up piles of leaves left curbside. Carl Kessler, 5451 Whitehaven has been a resident of the city since 1937 and has lived at this address for 45 years. He spent $3,000 to have a contractor landscape his front yard, and the deer have ravaged that and have eaten his garden vegetables. He has seen an increase in deer by one or two every year. He asked that the city take action to do something about the deer problem. Terry Groden, 25211 Chase Drive read a letter into the record (attached).
