Council Minutes of 11 -05 -2014 passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2014 -74 adopted 5 -0. Resolution 2014 -76 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement ( "CBA ") with the International Association of Fire Fighters ( "IAFF ") Local 1267, for the period January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017. Ordinance 2014 -77 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to request proposals for plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning preventative maintenance services for the city's Division of Recreation; further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the contractor selected in the RFP process. Resolution 2014 -78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said stone, after Board of Control of Approval. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday November 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolutions 2014 -76 and 2014 -78. The Mayor and Safety /Service Director are asked to attend. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee meeting for Tuesday November 11, 2014 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2014 -77. The Mayor is asked to attend. Councilman Barker scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday November 11, 2014 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2014 -75. The Law Director and Clerk of Mayors Court are asked to attend. Councilman Barker made a motion to excuse the absences of Council Members Brossard and Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Council Members Brossard and Williamson excused 5 -0.
