Council Minutes of 12 -16 -2014 <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2015, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three <br />readings as this was discussed in Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />2014 -87 adopted 6 -0. <br />Ordinance 2014 -88 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance establishing the rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017 by increasing the salary ranges <br />two percent (2 %) each year; and authorizing the option to sell back vacation for 2015 <br />only to assist with the payroll change one week in arrears; and to otherwise restate the <br />compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel <br />for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney <br />made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in <br />Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2014 -88 adopted 6 -0. <br />Ordinance 2014 -89 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies <br />with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and interim <br />account of the city, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in Finance Committee. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2014 -89 adopted 6 -0. <br />Ordinance 2014 -91 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />an agreement with Go21T Group to provide, among other things, helpdesk support, <br />network monitoring, hardware and software licensing and support, virus recovery and <br />system monitoring services for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this <br />was discussed in Finance Committee. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $2,050,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br />remodeling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving buildings and <br />facilities in the city's Recreation Center Complex and improving and equipping their site, <br />together with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance 2014 -93 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading.
