Council Minutes of 12 -16 -2014 <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the <br />city's storm water drainage system by replacing a culvert in Windsor Drive, together with <br />work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance 2014 -94 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $245,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring mowers, <br />utility vehicles, a fertilizer spreader, a top dresser, a turbine blower, a roller and other <br />equipment for use at the city's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility. <br />Ordinance 2014 -95 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $385,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br />remodeling, rehabilitating, equipping and otherwise improving the city's police station, <br />together with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance 2014 -96 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,005,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the <br />city's storm water drainage system by constructing, reconstructing and otherwise <br />improving storm water detention basins, infiltration trenches, swales, storm sewer lines <br />and other related improvements, together with work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance 2014 -97 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,270,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Great <br />Northern Boulevard between certain termini, in cooperation with the Department of <br />Transportation of the State of Ohio, by widening, constructing, reconstructing and <br />rehabilitating the pavement base, preparing the surface, surfacing and resurfacing and <br />installing traffic signs and signalization, where necessary, and improving Angela Drive <br />and certain other designated streets in the city between certain termini by reconstructing <br />and rehabilitating the pavement base, constructing and reconstructing curbs and curb <br />ramps and adjusting catch basins, manholes and utility valve and monument boxes, where <br />necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, and improving, in each case together <br />with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Resolution 2014 -98 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Barker on <br />behalf of himself and the entire City Council. A Resolution in support of the Cuyahoga <br />County Mayors and Managers Association efforts to compel the State of Ohio, <br />Department of Natural Resources to actively manage the deer population in the State of <br />Ohio, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed during <br />this evening's Caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2014 -98 adopted 6 -0. <br />Ordinance 2014 -99 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
