Council Minutes of 02-17-2015 a new CRA. The committee voted 2-0 to recommend approval of these two reappointments. Councilwoman Hemann made a motion to reappoint Walter Spalding and Jeff Herwick to the CRA Housing Council for the terms January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Spalding and Herwick reappointed 5-0. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION No comments. LEGISLATION Resolution 2015-1 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide asphalt resurfacing and related repairs upon city streets, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015-1 adopted 5-0. Resolution 2015-2 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. Resolution 2015-10 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Cuyahoga County/The Cuyahoga County Engineer for the purpose of providing inspection services for bridges and culverts, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously.
