Council Minutes of 05-06-2015 LEGISLATION Resolution 2015-22 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction for the North Olmsted Facility Signage Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Planning Department, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015- 22 adopted 6-0. Ordinance 2015-23 introduced by Councilman Barker was given its third reading. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for Council at-Large members for the term of office commencing January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2019 and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-23 adopted 6-0. Ordinance 2015-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the County of Cuyahoga to provide for resurfacing of Bradley Road from White Oak Lane to the western city limits, together with additional cooperative terms and conditions, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-25 adopted 6-0. Ordinance 2015-26 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the County of Cuyahoga to provide for resurfacing of Mastick Road from Columbia Road to the eastern city limits, together with additional cooperative terms and conditions, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-26 adopted 6-0. Resolution 2015-33 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions to provide a fireworks display for the 2015 North Olmsted Fourth of July Bicentennial Celebration, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously.
