Council Minutes of 05-06-2015 <br /> LEGISLATION <br /> Resolution 2015-22 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to advertise for bids <br /> for the award of a contract to provide construction for the North Olmsted Facility Signage <br /> Project, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Planning Department, and <br /> authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the <br /> same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br /> motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015- <br /> 22 adopted 6-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-23 introduced by Councilman Barker was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for Council at-Large members for <br /> the term of office commencing January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2019 and <br /> declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The <br /> motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br /> 2015-23 adopted 6-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the County of <br /> Cuyahoga to provide for resurfacing of Bradley Road from White Oak Lane to the <br /> western city limits, together with additional cooperative terms and conditions, and <br /> declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion <br /> was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-25 <br /> adopted 6-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-26 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the County of <br /> Cuyahoga to provide for resurfacing of Mastick Road from Columbia Road to the eastern <br /> city limits, together with additional cooperative terms and conditions, and declaring an <br /> emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br /> by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-26 adopted 6-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-33 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks <br /> Productions to provide a fireworks display for the 2015 North Olmsted Fourth of July <br /> Bicentennial Celebration, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a <br /> motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in Finance <br /> Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br /> Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015-33 adopted 6-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-34 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining <br /> Agreement with the Ohio Patrolman's Benevolent Association, for the Dispatchers, for <br /> the period January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this <br /> was discussed in Finance Committee.
