Council Minutes of 09-01-2015 <br /> Gareau said Ubaldi did not follow the Charter or the law like Lambert stated. He has the <br /> law on his side, Lambert doesn't. <br /> LEGISLATION <br /> Ordinance 2015-56 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its third reading. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and <br /> authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc. <br /> to provide architectural services for the Recreation Complex/Facilities Master Planning <br /> Study. Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-56 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-58 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Section 165.04 ("Duties") of <br /> Chapter 165 ("Landmarks Commission") of the Administrative Code in order to provide <br /> authority to the city Landmarks Commission to establish programs for the recognition <br /> and promotion of historically significant community resources. Councilwoman Hemann <br /> moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br /> unanimously. Ordinance 2015-58 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-59 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its third reading. An Ordinance repealing Chapter 713 of the Business <br /> Regulation Code entitled"Licensing of Rental Units" and creating a new Chapter 1319 of <br /> the Building Code entitled "Licensing of Rental Units," and declaring an emergency, as <br /> amended. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-59 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-61 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Building Code Chapter 1345 of the <br /> Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Swimming Pools" in order <br /> to incorporate state code amendments, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved for <br /> adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br /> Ordinance 2015-61 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-62 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy <br /> was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Sections 1301 <br /> and 1305 and repealing Sections 1303, 1307 and 1309 of Chapter Thirteen of the <br /> Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Building Code" and further <br /> in order to restate applicable Codes and eliminate unnecessary provisions for commercial <br /> and residential construction. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion <br /> was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015- <br /> 62 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-63 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and <br /> Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance adopting a new Chapter 1364 <br /> of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Interior Maintenance <br /> Code," as amended.
