LEGISLATION Ordinance 2015-56 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with John Patrick Picard Architect, Inc. to provide architectural services for the Recreation Complex/Facilities Master Planning Study. Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-56 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2015-58 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Section 165.04 ("Duties") of Chapter 165 ("Landmarks Commission") of the Administrative Code in order to provide authority to the city Landmarks Commission to establish programs for the recognition and promotion of historically significant community resources. Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-58 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2015-59 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance repealing Chapter 713 of the Business Regulation Code entitled"Licensing of Rental Units" and creating a new Chapter 1319 of the Building Code entitled "Licensing of Rental Units," and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-59 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2015-61 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending Building Code Chapter 1345 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Swimming Pools" in order to incorporate state code amendments, as amended. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-61 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2015-62 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Sections 1301 and 1305 and repealing Sections 1303, 1307 and 1309 of Chapter Thirteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Building Code" and further in order to restate applicable Codes and eliminate unnecessary provisions for commercial and residential construction. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015- 62 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2015-63 introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An Ordinance adopting a new Chapter 1364 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Interior Maintenance Code," as amended. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption.
