Council Minutes of 09-01-2015 seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-63 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2015-64 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution proclaiming September as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. An Ordinance enacting new Chapter 949 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code entitled "Animal Control and Nuisance Abatement" in order to establish procedures for animal control and cost recovery. Resolution 2015-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder(s) to purchase said stone, after Board of Control Approval. Resolution 2015-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy.
