Council Minutes of 05-03-2016 <br /> the City of North Olmsted titled "Building Code" for the limited purpose of changing the <br /> "Board of Building Code Appeals" to the "Building and Zoning Board of Appeals", and <br /> declaring an emergency. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-37 adopted <br /> 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-38 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase from Gorman Rupp Company replacement <br /> pumps for the sanitary sewer system lift station located at 25300 Al Moen Drive. <br /> Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-38 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2016-39 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance amending Sections 931.03 and 931.10 of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br /> of North Olmsted, Chapter 931 entitled "Grading and Surface Water Drainage", to <br /> require that grading deposits for specified projects be paid at the time of application, and <br /> declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion <br /> was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-39 <br /> adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2016-40 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance making appropriation and authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to replace a part of the ceiling, windows, <br /> and exterior stairway at the Community Cabin/Senior Center and, additionally, to replace <br /> steel doors at the Senior Center, Service Department and Fleet Garage, all as detailed in <br /> the specifications on file in the Service Department, and authorizing the Mayor, <br /> following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and <br /> best bidder. Councilman Brossard moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-40 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2016-42 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance making appropriation and authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to demolish an existing structure and <br /> construct a new metal prefabricated building on the site of the former primary tank <br /> Number One Building at the Waste Water Treatment Plant, as detailed in the <br /> specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval <br /> of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br /> Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-42 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-43 introduced by Mayor Kennedy on behalf of himself, Council <br /> President Jones and the entire City Council was given its third reading. A Resolution in <br /> support of a statement of cooperation for the Aerozone Alliance. Councilwoman <br /> Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br /> passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-43 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-45 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Russ Bassett Company <br /> 4 <br />
