Council Minutes of 06-07-2016 <br /> Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br /> Hemann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-60 adopted 6-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-61 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution making appropriation and authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to replace the roof of Building No. 15, <br /> including elimination of Zimpro stacks, at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, as detailed in <br /> the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following <br /> approval of the Board of Control, to contract with the same with the lowest and best <br /> bidder. <br /> Resolution 2016-62 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br /> Resolution making appropriation and authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to replace the roof of Building No. 14 at the <br /> Wastewater Treatment Plant, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, <br /> and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract with <br /> the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br /> Ordinance 2016-65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br /> Jones on behalf of herself and the entire City Council. An Ordinance to revise the <br /> Codified Ordinances by adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> Ordinance 2016-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br /> Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter <br /> 139 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Department of Public Safety" in order to <br /> establish a full-time maintenance position within the department, and declaring an <br /> emergency. <br /> Ordinance 2016-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br /> Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending the rates of compensation <br /> for various administrative and legislative personnel for 2016 to create the full-time <br /> position of maintenance personnel in the Department of Public Safety (Section 8A) and <br /> adjust the salary range for the maintenance position in the Division of Aging (Section 5C) <br /> to provide uniformity; and to otherwise restate the compensation rates and descriptions <br /> for various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2015, 2016 and 2017, <br /> and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2016-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br /> Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public <br /> Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services <br /> for the Bradley Road Pump Station Rehabilitation Project, as detailed in the <br /> specifications on file with the City Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following <br /> approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best <br /> bidder. <br /> 9 <br />
