Council Minutes of 06-21-2016 <br /> asked if the money has been set aside for this project, and Finance Director Copfer said it <br /> has been set aside. There are two phases which were discussed during the Streets & <br /> Transportation Committee meeting. <br /> LEGISLATION <br /> Resolution 2016-54 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal <br /> year beginning January 1, 2017, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal <br /> Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney <br /> moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed <br /> unanimously. Resolution 2016-54 adopted 5-0. <br /> Ordinance 2016-56 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br /> Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 561 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br /> City of North Olmsted entitled "Criminal Activity Nuisances" in order to include <br /> commercial property in said chapter, as amended. Councilwoman Williamson moved for <br /> adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br /> Ordinance 2016-56 adopted 5-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-57 introduced by Mayor Kennedy (Council members Williamson and <br /> Brossard added as co-sponsors) was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br /> Director of Planning & Development to solicit bids for the demolition and removal of <br /> dangerous buildings located at 5261 Berkshire Drive as a public nuisance; and further <br /> authorizing the costs to be certified as a tax lien upon said real property pursuant to <br /> section 1331.05 of the Codified Ordinances, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-57 adopted 5-0. <br /> Ordinance 2016-58 introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Barker on <br /> behalf of himself and Council President Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance <br /> amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to eliminate through <br /> traffic in the right hand lane of Clague Road at its intersection with Lorain Road, for <br /> northbound and southbound traffic thereby making such lanes "Right Turn Only", and <br /> declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion <br /> was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2016-58 <br /> adopted 5-0. <br /> Resolution 2016-61 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br /> Resolution making appropriation and authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br /> advertise for bids for the award of a contract to replace the roof of Building No. 15, <br /> including elimination of Zimpro stacks, at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, as detailed in <br /> the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following <br /> approval of the Board of Control, to contract with the same with the lowest and best <br /> bidder. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-61 adopted 5-0. <br /> 7 <br />
