No objection by a vote of 7-0. <br /> • Discussed next was Ordinance 2016-74 which is an Ordinance amending Section <br /> 505.16 entitled"Vicious and Dangerous Animals" of Chapter Five of the Codified <br /> Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to add definitions for and <br /> regulation of the specific "Cane Corso" breed as a vicious animal. Director <br /> Glauner requested that Council table this Ordinance as many changes need to be <br /> made and they would like to draft a new Ordinance. Councilman Barker made a <br /> motion to request that Council table Ordinance 2016-74. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilwoman Williamson, and the committee voted 3-0 to <br /> recommend tabling Ordinance 2016-74. <br /> Councilman Barker made a motion to table Ordinance 2016-74. Ordinance 2016-74 <br /> tabled 7-0. <br /> • Discussed next was Ordinance 2016-78 which is an Ordinance amending Section <br /> 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public Grounds) of the Codified <br /> Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to permit alcohol to be sold and <br /> consumed at the VFW Post 7647 Tent at the 2016 North Olmsted Community <br /> Council Homecoming, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann <br /> gave the explanation for this Ordinance. The VFW will be selling smaller single- <br /> serving size bottles of wine, and suspension is being requested to implement this <br /> in time for North Olmsted's Homecoming Weekend. Council had implemented <br /> legislation in the past for the VFW to sell beer, and it has been successful for <br /> them with no problems for the City or Community Council thus far. Councilman <br /> Barker made a motion to recommend approval of Ordinance 2016-78 with <br /> suspension. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson, and the <br /> committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval or Ordinance 2016-78 with <br /> suspension. <br /> • Discussed last was Resolution 2016-79 which is a Resolution authorizing the <br /> Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted City School District in <br /> order to provide for right of entry and authorizing the City to commence <br /> construction of the Pine School Basin Improvement Project, and declaring an <br /> emergency. If Council adopts this legislation and the school board does what they <br /> have to do on their end, the City can start the retention basin project on this <br /> property which has been discussed over a year now. No agreement has been <br /> 3 <br />
